Getting Started with SAS Seminar
Hands on Workshop for University of Cambridge Students and Academics
Topic: Machine Learning using SAS
Join us for a hands‑on introduction to modern analytics and machine learning using SAS Viya for Learners — a cloud‑native enterprise analytics platform that combines data preparation, visual analytics, and scalable machine‑learning tools in one environment. SAS Viya supports point‑and‑click visual workflows and code‑first approaches (SAS, Python, R), offers fast model training at scale, and includes built‑in model explanation and deployment capabilities — making it ideal for both beginners and experienced analysts.
Why You Should Attend
SAS is widely used in academic research for data analysis, visualization, machine learning and statistical modelling. This session will help researchers explore how SAS can support their work, from managing large datasets to generating insights for publications and projects.
