Intensive Research Support from SAS, for pre-approved projects only, provides

  1. Free software access [on premises]
    • Free 14-day trial [from first use] of SAS Viya technologies
    • Free access to SAS Viya technologies for up to 12 months, hosted on the Department of Physics’ Azure cloud
  2. Additional defined input from SAS experts (contracted with SAS, either paid for or free, subject to project specifics and SAS interest). SAS’s Universal Terms and Conditions for software licenses and contracted services may be viewed here.

The PITHIA project is a use case for intensive research support from SAS.

Applying for Intensive Research Support

The Office for Translational Research will coordinate the application and liaise with SAS. Applicants will receive a Yes/No response within four weeks of submission.
