Tim Jarratt from National Grid will give a seminar entitled “Can electricity networks cope with mass uptake of Electric Vehicles (EVs)?” outlining what National Grid do in the UK and US, and talk about which challenges transmission and distribution companies face in the future. He will also present his views on how quickly EV uptake will occur and what that means for network infrastructure requirements and how transmission and distribution companies will have to adapt to manage EV uptake.
The event will be followed by a sandwich lunch.
