Maxwell Centre

Venue: Maxwell Centre

The latest in our series of Industry Engagement Forums will be with Beko in September 2016. Industry Engagement Forums are day-long facilitated discussion forums taking three or four themes from a company and exploring possible solutions, with delegates drawn from several departments according to the themes. There have been more than 25 IEFs across the University; this is the first hosted in the new Maxwell Centre.

Beko is one of Europe’s leading home appliance brands and the best-selling large home appliance brand in the UK. Beko has a wide range of household appliances including major appliances (fridges, washing machines, ovens, dishwashers, dryers) and small appliances (vacuum cleaners, irons, coffee machines, microwaves, personal care and food preparation products). Beko opened its Cambridge R&D centre in July 2015  to investigate novel technologies and develop new products and features for the home which respect the environment and support consumer comfort, meeting their current and future needs.

Getting involved

University of Cambridge reserachers are invited to contact Michael Simmons (mps48@cam.ac.uk) for more information about the event, themes to be included, programme for the day and to register.
