Join us to hear about the latest research from materials to circular economy and from waste management to the build environment, and let’s join forces to fight the climate emergency.

Cambridge Zero is the new initiative from the University of Cambridge to help achieve a zero-carbon goal by 2038. The Maxwell Centre, as business interface for Cambridge Zero, in partnership with Cambridge Cleantech, invite you to hear what is new in research to help achieving this goal and discuss how commercialised solutions contribute to delivering zero carbon future.

Dr Emily Shuckburgh OBE, Director of Cambridge Zero, University of Cambridge, and Hugh Parnell, Chairman of Cambridge Cleantech, will set the scene for the 4 sessions on:

  • Energy Transition, Material and Systems
  • Plastics, Waste Management and Circular Economy
  • Future Transport from Renewable Fuels to Electrification and Hydrogen
  • The Built Environment

The event is aimed at creating closer links between University researchers and Cleantech companies, providing them with the opportunity to seed collaborations and express interest for follow up workshops.

Attendance is free, but as the number of delegates is capped at the venue capacity, early registration is encouraged.
